Cash Register Operations/Check Cookies In and Out
- Use appropriate language/manners when dealing with customers
- acknowledge customers exist
- Be as helpful as possible
- Do not use cell phone when dealing with customers
Cash Register Operations/Check Cookies In and Out
- Sign into register (password and ID should be your initials)
- Prepare spreadsheet for cookie sales
- When students exit the kitchen with a basket of cookies, count each type and write it down in the spreadsheet along with the name of the salesman, the date, and the lunch (A, B or C)
- When the students return with, count how many they return with and note it in the spreadsheet
- Count the cash they bring back and make sure its the correct amount
- When count is complete, enter the cookie sales into the register and put in the money
- After all students have returned, click on "manager" and 'Balance register"
- Enter the number of each bill and coins into the computer post the results
- Print the report and remove all money in the register besides $20 (2 $5 bills, 13 $1 bills, 5 quarters,5 dimes and 5 nickels)
- Clean the counters, sweep behind the register and give Strong-arm the stacks of cash
